A day in the life of Gabriel N., a 12 year old Philadelphia native. Interested in art, travel, swimming, martial arts and rowing to name just a few. Also trying to open a business - NOT EASY when your 12 and living in the city (not much grass to mow here)!! My main goal is to have a book published this summer. If I am not at home, you will find me at the park or gym. Most people would describe me as funny and down to earth. One unusual thing about me is I love to eat lemons.

Whoooaaa you're PUBLISHING the book!? COOL! How's the process? Do you have to pay anything? How did you go about getting it published? I'm writing a couple of books myself and will soon be looking for a publisher. Can you give me any tips?
ReplyDeleteHello - yeah - if you google self publishers, you will find a lot listed. You can call who you choose and ask for quotes and/or information. They you must decide which you want to work with. A little stressful as I'm sure you know coming up with something original. What kind of books are you writing?
ReplyDeleteHello Gabe, I don't know if you check your old posts or not but i finally had time to reply on your question. I am interested it writing realistic fiction and also fantasy that is still somewhat believable, though, I guess a really great author could make the most unbelievable fantasy seem believable. (I hope I can get that good.)
ReplyDeleteTo Blue Rose - sounds good. have you started any projects yet or just ideas? are you writing children's books? yeah look at the harry potter series. definitely seems like reality.
ReplyDeleteI always seem to start projects, then get stuck. Some are children's books, some are more teenager oriented. Yeah Harry Potter is a definite example, I just got back from watching the movie.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Definitely hit lots of walls. I have like 10 stories that I started and just never finished. I saw Harry at the Imax on Fri. What did you think? I thought it was good but I wish the fight scene at the end could have been more intense. What was your favorite part?
